History of the British Psychological Society

A Short History of the British Psychological Society

History of the Developmental Psychology Section

History of the Division of Criminological and Legal Psychology (now renamed Division of Forensic Psychology)

The long-term aim here is to compile a comprehensive online history of the British Psychological Society. Such a history ought to cover the professional, academic and institutional evolution of the Society. An appropriate method for the achievement of this is being worked out. One possibility is for a wiki that can be contributed to by Society members and staff (past and present) - but this is not yet technically possible on this site.

In the meantime we are able to provide some tactical resource pages, rich with links to further resources, that might eventually feed into the strategic development of a comprehensive history.
